Brendan Grieve is the bass player for Sam Smith. He is currently touring with Sam on the In the Lonely Hour Tour.
Life[]
Bren began playing several instruments when he was young but ultimately decided to stick with the bass. He went on tour for the first time in 2006.[1] He plays a five string bass.[2]
Connection with Sam[]
Sam and Bren are both friends with Lottie Brooksbank, Sam's makeup artist. Bren will most likely depart from Sam's backing band after the tour ends. Bren and Sam also write songs together sometimes.[3] On April 26, 2015, Bren, Sam, and Benny Blooper all got anchor tattoos to remember the tour.[4]
